Worship Leadership at Community Church
Worship Committee

Worship Chairperson
- To work with the pastoral staff in the oversight of worship.
- To make sure that all of the logistical and support needs are met for congregational worship.
- To utilize and update the worship manual, so as to define and facilitate congregational worship.
Ushers and Greeters Coordinator
- To recruit, train and coordinate a rotating set of at least 6 ushers each month, striving to include as many persons as possible.
Chancel Care Coordinator
- To recruit, train and coordinate persons to provide for the orderly upkeep of the sanctuary with a special concern for the set up of the chancel area, the pews, and registration books.
Flowers Coordinator
- To work with the church secretary, the florist, and the congregation, utilizing the flower chart, weekly newssheet and other means of communication to provide flowers each Sunday for the chancel area.
Contemporary Multi-sensory Worship Team - Dale Ash, Mitzie Ash, Nancy Hett, Jack Hett, Dolores Pike, Susan Queen, Delana Wisnauskas
- To meet weekly to plan, create, and implement multi-sensory worship in the contemporary service each Sunday morning.
Music Ministry Team - *Ruth Post and *Willie Streat; Co-Chairpersons,
Jack Caldwell, Paul Hexter, Ann Harrington, Don Harrington, Georgia Kallgren, Jean Kershner, Julie Kolanowski; Director, Virginia Walden
- To be responsible for overall the music ministry, including oversight and support of our Chancel Choir, our Handbell Choir, our Children's Choir, our Youth Chorus and our Contemporary Music Team.
- To facilitate the start up of additional music groups and teams.
- To be responsible for sponsoring special music events outside of our worship services.
- To consult with the SPPRC in the hiring music leadership.
- To meet at 7:05 P.M. on the One Meeting Night a Month (the Second Tuesday of Each Month), utilizing the action "hot" sheets to record the work of committee and then to have the chairperson or representative make a report of items requiring action by the Church Council.
